I’m excited to compete in the YMCA of Southern Maine’s Virtual Peaks to Portland Swim to Benefit Kids between July 1 and July 31, 2021. (It’s one of the oldest open water swims in the United States – 2.4 miles!) Most importantly, I’m raising money in support of children at the Y.

I have a long career in swimming for YMCA teams! I competed at the National level for many years, and have participated in several open water swims, which increases my excitement to participate in this event! Following my career in competitive swimming, I became a Water Safety instructor, Lifeguard instructor, and CPR instructor. I taught children and adults to swim for 11 years, as the Waterfront Director for the town of Casco. I have also trained 100's of lifeguards to protect waters all over Maine. I believe in water safety and enjoyment, which again, is why I am thrilled to raise funds for the youth of Southern Maine by swimming the Virtual Peaks to Portland!

All funds raised by me will help the Y deliver life-changing programs that inspire young potential, promote academic success, create connectivity and inclusion, and provide stability and normalcy as our community navigates these unprecedented times.

My goal is to raise money for the Y’s youth, but I can only do this with your support. Will you join me in ensuring that all kids have the opportunity to thrive?

Please support my campaign today and help us make a positive difference in the lives of kids in our community.  I’ll be thinking of you and the kids we’re helping while swimming 2.4 miles this summer!

Thank you!
